2017 / “On the tip of your tongue” is about the present, and our embodied experiences. It’s not about living in the present, but more about giving each moment a form in its own complex, emotive context. The works have no agenda but to yield the memories that influence us, as well as the complexity of the present.
/ The title refers to those times words are waiting to be said, bit difficult to express in a manner that duly conveys nuance and sincerity. What if you were asked: How are you right now, and what makes you do what you do…or not?
The exhibition can be seen as an installation where each work refers to something that has happened at different times - fragments of constructed and distorted sensibilities and recollections / Biennalen for Kunsthåndværk & Design 2017
